He holds a degree in Film and Television from the prestigious Munich Film School (HFF München). His work has received more than 500 international awards at film festivals worldwide, including an Academy Award pre-nomination, a Deutscher Kurzfilmpreis nomination, and a Goya Award pre-nomination. He was selected as a Berlinale Talent in 2004 and won Best European Short at the International Fantasy Film Festival of Brussels.
 

Iván Sainz-Pardo works as a film and advertising director and screenwriter. He served as Second Unit Director on The Head (TV series, Mediapro Studios) and as a director on the Amazon Original series Sebastian Fitzek’s Therapy (2023). In 2024, he directed his first feature film, Der Vierer, produced by Neos Films and Wiedemann & Berg. He also directed the Joyn Original series Die Stinos (2024), the German remake of the successful Spanish series Poquita fe.
